Subscription & Connection Support
Start with the issue you're facing: update a subscription, connect a new device, check app routing, or review an order or refund. Jump to a category and expand a question for step-by-step help.
Client menu names may vary by platform. Before making changes, keep your current configuration and check your account and local network. Then adjust settings one at a time.
Account & Subscriptions
Check which account you're signed into before managing subscription links or connecting devices.
Do I need an email address to create an account? What if I forget my password?
No email address is needed. Create an account with a username and password, and save them in a trusted password manager. Make sure you use the same account when you sign in later. If you forget your password, first check whether your browser or password manager saved your credentials, then look for account recovery options and instructions in the dashboard. Do not assume you can recover your account by email, and never give your password to someone else to handle. If you are still signed in on a device, keep that session active and contact support through a dashboard ticket. Whether access can be restored depends on verification.
Where can I find my subscription link, and do I need to import it again when it updates?
Sign in to the user dashboard and find the subscription entry in your account overview. Copy the link or import it into your client as instructed. The subscription link lets your client retrieve route configurations; it is not a webpage you need to keep opening in a browser. To refresh the route list, select your current subscription in the client's subscription or configuration settings, run an update, and check whether the list has changed. Auto-update intervals and settings depend on the client; VPNNH does not guarantee a fixed schedule. Reimport only if the link has been reset, the import URL no longer works, or the configuration is corrupted.
Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices? Which platforms are supported?
VPNNH supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux, with unlimited devices online at the same time. You do not need to choose a new plan just because you switched devices. Sign in to the same account on your new device, open the client download area, and follow the instructions for that platform to install a client and import your subscription. Sign in to download a client for Windows, macOS, Android, or Linux. The iOS download option requires a purchased plan that has not expired. After setup, test the app you want to use. Do not assume installation steps from your old device apply to a different platform. Keep your account credentials and subscription link secure.
What should I do if my subscription link is exposed?
Your subscription link contains access credentials. Sharing it in public screenshots or chats, or pasting it into an unfamiliar website, could give others access. If it has been exposed, sign in to the dashboard, find the subscription reset option, and follow the instructions to invalidate the old link. Then update your clients with the new link. The exact option depends on what is available in your dashboard. If there is no reset option, request help through a support ticket and stop sharing the old link. Resetting a subscription and changing your account password address different issues; do not assume one action automatically does the other. After updating, check each device you use regularly to make sure it has the new configuration.
Connections & Troubleshooting
Tell apart local network issues, client routing, and app behavior before reinstalling anything.
The client says it's connected, but websites won't load. What should I check first?
Disconnect and make sure your local network can reach websites that normally work. Reconnect, then check that the client has selected a valid subscription and a specific route. A connected status only means the client completed a connection step; it does not mean every app is using that route. Next, check whether the system proxy or the client's traffic-routing mode is enabled, and whether another network tool is also changing proxy settings. Try the target site in a browser and compare it with the app. If only one destination fails, check the app's rules or the target service. Keep the original settings and change one thing at a time to help identify the cause.
Why can my browser connect, but an app won't use the proxy?
Apps handle proxy settings differently. Some follow the system proxy, while others use their own network connections. Check the client's routing rules to make sure the target domain is not set to connect directly or excluded from routing. If the client offers a virtual network adapter or a mode that routes all traffic, review its permission requirements, then switch modes temporarily for comparison and restore your usual settings afterward. Do not run multiple traffic-routing tools at once. An app's account region, eligibility, or sign-in status may also affect access. A network connection cannot replace those requirements; follow the target service's instructions if it reports an eligibility issue.
Subscription update failed or the route list is empty. How can I troubleshoot it?
In the dashboard, check your account, plan status, and remaining data. Copy the current subscription link again and make sure no characters are missing or extra spaces were added when you pasted it. Do not mistake the dashboard webpage URL for a subscription link. Once your local network is working, try updating in the client. If you see a format error, check that the import method matches the configuration type provided in the dashboard. Keep the old configuration for comparison rather than deleting it. If the update still fails, note the exact error, platform, and steps you took, then send them in a support ticket. Hide the full subscription link and its credentials in any screenshots.
The connection often drops when my device sleeps or changes networks. What can I do?
Sleep, network changes, and background restrictions can interrupt an existing connection. Make sure your device is back online, then disconnect and reconnect in the client instead of relying on a connection indicator left over from before sleep. Check whether the system restricts the client from running in the background and whether its required network permissions are still allowed. Grant only the permissions needed for the connection. If the issue happens in the same situation each time, note the network types before and after the switch, the client message, and the selected region. This can help distinguish a local network change from a route issue. Do not turn off all system protections just to keep the connection active. Leave settings at their defaults if you are unsure what they do.
Speed & Routes
Compare routes on the same device and in the same app for useful results.
During peak-hour slowdowns, how can I tell whether to switch routes or check my local network?
Pause heavy transfers on other devices, disconnect the client, and compare your local network with its usual performance. If local browsing is also slow, check your Wi-Fi signal, router, and internet connection first. If normal browsing is fine, try another route in the same region, then test a different region and see whether the target service improves. Keep the same device and app during testing, and avoid changing several conditions at once. Peak-hour performance can be affected by your internet provider, network congestion, and the target service. A single test cannot establish long-term reliability. When reporting an issue, include when it happened and the route name; this is more useful than simply saying it was slow.
How should I choose between an IEPL route, a relay, and a direct route?
These terms describe how a connection is routed; they do not guarantee a particular speed for every website. A direct route generally connects straight to an exit, a relay forwards traffic through an intermediate path, and an IEPL route indicates a dedicated-line connection. Available options are listed in the dashboard. First choose a region that suits the target service, then compare connection success, responsiveness, and sustained performance on your own network. Do not judge by the route name alone or assume that a shorter geographic distance will always be faster. For more on route types, see the route list and the complete guide, then choose based on your own results.
Does coverage across many regions mean I can access every website?
VPNNH covers 120+ countries and offers 240+ routes. This describes the available exit locations; it does not mean every target service is available to every account. AI tools and streaming services may also check account region, subscription eligibility, payment region, or exit IP characteristics. Check the target service's supported regions before choosing an exit location to test. If you see different regional content, an eligibility notice, or a login security check, distinguish route issues from the platform's rules. Repeatedly switching regions will not resolve account eligibility issues. Keeping your setup reasonably consistent also makes network changes easier to evaluate.
Why are downloads or videos still slow when the client shows low latency?
Latency mainly measures response time for a round trip; it does not directly indicate sustained transfer speed. Downloads and video playback are also affected by local bandwidth, network congestion, the target server, and the app's buffering. First check that other apps are not using a large share of your network, then compare routes while accessing the same content. Results from different websites are not directly comparable. If video playback is poor, check the app's quality settings and whether the content itself is working normally. Route status and test results can help you choose a route, but they are not speed guarantees for every situation. If the issue persists, note the app, route, and specific symptoms.
Billing & Refunds
Check the order and payment method first. Payments and refunds are handled through the relevant account.
How much do monthly plans and data packages cost, and which should I choose?
Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. Monthly plans suit people who use the service month to month and want a set data allowance for each billing period. Data packages last until used and never expire, making them a good fit for occasional or unpredictable use. Check how much data your usual apps consume and how often you use them before choosing; price alone is not the only factor. See the plans page and dashboard for full details and available options. A data package does not replenish monthly like a monthly plan.
When does monthly data reset, and how is a mid-cycle upgrade calculated?
Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Check your current plan's billing period and data status in the dashboard; do not assume everything resets at the start of a calendar month. Before upgrading, review the change details and confirmation shown in the dashboard. Make sure the change applies to the account and plan you are currently using before proceeding. These upgrade terms do not imply data stacking, rollover, or any other benefit not listed here. If the dashboard shows something unexpected, keep the page details and ask through a support ticket rather than submitting repeated requests.
Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my status doesn't update after paying?
VPNNH supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Start the payment process from an order in the dashboard, check the account, plan, and order details, then follow the on-screen instructions. If your plan status does not change after payment, first check the transaction status in your payment app, then return to the dashboard to review your order history and account overview. Do not pay again until the transaction status is clear. If the payment is complete but the order has not updated, submit a dashboard support ticket with the order reference, payment method, and any necessary proof of payment. Hide personal information that is not needed for verification, and do not include your account password or full subscription link.
How do I request a refund, and what information should I include?
VPNNH offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. Read the refund policy before applying. Sign in to the account used for payment, explain your request through the dashboard ticket system, and include an order reference and payment method so the order can be identified. If you have an order page or transaction receipt, attach only the relevant details and hide information not needed to process the request. Do not send your account password or subscription credentials. Follow up in the same ticket and provide any verification details requested rather than opening multiple tickets. Refund eligibility and processing are subject to the refund policy and order verification. This page does not promise a processing time or payment provider turnaround.
